    Such a heartwarming post!

What a fantastic way for your family to connect, and to experience the Whanganui river together. I love your final thought that it was a journey deep into your heart.

Thanks Josy, I think about the similarities of kayaking on river and life, both flow forward, and we have the option to flow with it either optimistically or pessimistically. Have a great day!

Well first off, holy story telling. I feel like I was reading an adventure novel. This sounds like one crazy adventure. I can’t imagine the pain in your arms if you say they rivaled labor pains… I know how those feel and it’s hard to imagine something coming close to that. What an experience!

Thank you Addie for your kind words. It was a wonderful trip down the river minus pain.

Wow! This seems like an incredible adventure. I wish I had know about it before booking my time in NZ, but I guess its a good reason to go back, huh?

This sounds like so much fun (although hard work!). We plan on eventually ending up in NZ to do our working holiday visas, so plenty of time to do this. Sounds like something the Globetrotter Guys would be more than up for! Thank you for sharing your experience!
